would like to invite all of you to join us to usher in the

Chinese New Year of the DRAGON 2012

with a festive dinner

Venue: Dynasty Restaurant, 28 Hagley Street, Porirua

Date: Saturday 4th February, 2012

Time: 6.30pm

Ticket Price: $35 per adult or $350 per table of 10

All kids 5-12 years old occupying a seat - ticket price $20 per child

Tables with children may need to seat 12 per table (to help us recover costs).

Tickets can be purchased from your NZMS committee members or RSVP via email to nzmsiansoc@gmail.com from now until Sunday 29th January 2012.  Priority will be given to financial members of NZMS. This will be a good time to renew your 2012 membership so that we can continue to organise more events. Do purchase your tickets early as these dinners are always popular and tickets sell out fast!  FYI, 2011 CNY tickets sold out within 8 days.

Please provide your NZMS contact with your name and the number of people attending (number of adults and number of kids below 12 yrs old) and whether you want a 'non-halal' table seating. This is to assist us in seating families and groups together at the same table.

CNY Menu 2012

1. Yee Sang aka Lo Sang (Raw Fresh Fish dish)

2. Spicy salt Squid  (Crispy Roast Pork for non-halal table)

3. Roast Duck

4. Crispy Chicken

5. Steamed Whole Blue Cod

6. Jiu Yim Prawns(Salt and Pepper Prawns)

7. Crispy noodle basket with diced veggies and seafood and cashew nuts

8. Chinese Mushrooms with Fatt Choy

9. Stir Fry Chow Sum with garlic

10. Panfried Nien Gou (CNY Glutinous Rice Cakes)

11. Fresh Fruit Platter

Drinks – Chinese Tea provided for each table.

BYO soft drinks and wine allowed (within reason). No extra corkage - all inclusive in ticket price.

All tables are HALAL, please advise NZMS when purchasing your tickets if you wish to be seated at a non-halal table.

Vegetarians’ dishes on request, similar to previous years.

NOTE: Table seating will be allocated on an unbiased basis. Everyone must sit at the table they are allocated to by NZMS organisers. There will be NO swapping or choosing of tables on the day!!!

This is a formal notification of NZMS AGM that will be held on Saturday the 9th April 2011 at 3pm at the Malaysian High Commission, Washington Avenue, Brooklyn.

The 2011 financial report will be emailed to you prior to the meeting or made available at the meeting.

To form a Quorum for the AGM; attendance of 30 members are required hence we encourage your presence and full participation. As a measure of cost and energy savings,  please print out your personal copies  of the attachments as very limited copies will be made available on the day.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the High Commission Venue to elect executive officers and committee members as necessary. Our Patron His Excellency Dato  Hasnudin Hamzah will be present at the meeting. The event will be provided with finger foods and refreshments compliments of the Malaysian High Commission.
